Guests were treated to an intimate cocktail party hosted by author Hamish Bowles and the book’s editor Chloe Malle, who signed copies of the 200+ page hard back that uncovers the Costume Institute’s history and its many wondrous exhibitions.

Countdown to Key to the Cure 2014

Saks and SNL team up for 16th Annual Key To The Cure.

Saturday Night Live is turning 40 this year and to help celebrate such a momentous occasion, they’ve teamed up with Saks Fifth Avenue for the 16th annual Key To The Cure campaign and its exclusive collection, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund. As of last year, Key To The Cure has helped to raise over $35 million towards the cause.

Saks and SNL – Two New York Institutions Come Together for a Worldwide Cause.

Saturday Night Live is turning 40 this year and to help celebrate such a momentous occasion, they’ve teamed up with Saks Fifth Avenue for the 16th annual Key To The Cure campaign and its exclusive collection, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund. As of last year, Key To The Cure has helped to raise over $35 million towards the cause.

The collection will unfold on October 1 with a unisex tee designed by David Neville and Marcus Wainwright of Rag & Bone, followed by our charity shopping weekend taking place October 16 to 19. “We are very proud to partner with Saks for Key To The Cure and lend our support to such an important cause,” said Rag & Bone designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville. “EIF’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund is incredible. To play even the smallest of roles to raise money on their behalf is an honor.”

To mark the special occasion, some fan favorite SNL cast-members, namely, Will Ferrell, Ana Gasteyer, Vanessa Bayer, Cecily Strong and Colin Jost will sport the stylish tee in a national public service announcement that is set to appear in major fashion and lifestyle magazines in September and October.

“Key To The Cure has been a philanthropic focus for Saks Fifth Avenue for many years, and I am thrilled to continue this collaboration with the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund,” says Marigay McKee, President, Saks Fifth Avenue. “I’m proud of the contributions that Marcus & David of Rag & Bone, Saturday Night Live and our designer partners have brought to this year’s campaign and look forward to raising awareness for such an important cause.”

Turning 40 is a real milestone. Especially when you’re celebrating 40 years on television, so it’s a true testament to the power and importance of the cause that Saturday Night Live has chosen to highlight their anniversary by partnering up with Saks Fifth Avenue in order to give something back.

“We’re proud to have Will, Ana, Cecily, Vanessa and Colin serve as the faces of Key To The Cure in support of this deserving cause,” said Lorne Michaels, Creator & Executive Producer for Saturday Night Live.

Expect a couple of more surprise designs to follow after Rag & Bone’s unisex tee hits the racks at Saks Fifth Avenue nation-wide, Off 5th, as well as saks.com. Six other New York fashion giants have also signed on to deliver some SNL-inspired goods for Saks shoppers. Stay tuned for some great reveals as we approach the October 1 launch date.
